David Cameron’s great, great, great, great grandparents lived at Bevois Mount House!
They were Henry and Sophia Hulton, who married in Millbrook and resided at Bevois Mount from 1808–1840. He was a barrister at Lincoln’s Inn. They had a daughter called Elizabeth Anne who was christened, and later married to Robert Clutterbuck, at St Mary’s Church, Southampton.

The 3rd Earl of Peterborough, Charles Mordaunt, built Bevois Mount House and estate. He was descended from one of the most famous Tudor families as well as being ancestor to our current royal family.
